To abide in Jesus we need to repent of our vices and embrace grace and virtue so that God will be at home in us. Virtue invites grace. Virtue invites grace. While God loves us unconditionally, he cannot love sin. So if we are to prove our love for God we will acquire a habit of repenting of vices so we can be filled with virtues.
